The Interview interface is very similar to common development software that programmers use, like an IDE, that runs and tests code as it is written. This makes for a comfortable and familiar candidate experience and allows the candidate to demonstrate their technical skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u2757When you register an account, the person creating the account is the default account owner and admin. This person receives instructions for naming the team and inviting team members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two user types in Interview: <em>members <\/em>and <em>admins<\/em>. New users who join your Interview organization are members by default. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All members of your team have access to the shared quota of interview pads, the private&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/app.coderpad.io\/sandbox?__hstc=109152602.461f45eb3a20678f23c1a79f38ada4bd.1649264470780.1650296576245.1650302125285.8&amp;__hssc=109152602.4.1650302125285&amp;__hsfp=3205012490\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sandbox<\/a>&nbsp;for test use, and the following Interview tabs: the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/coderpad.io\/resources\/docs\/interview\/pads\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pad&#8217;s List<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/coderpad.io\/resources\/docs\/interview\/question-bank\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Question Bank<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/coderpad.io\/resources\/docs\/interview\/custom-files\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Custom Files<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/coderpad.io\/resources\/docs\/interview\/databases\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Custom Databases<\/a>, <\/em>and <em><a href=\"https:\/\/app.coderpad.io\/usage\">Usage<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, only admins can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>    &#8211; Edit billing information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>    &#8211; Change your organization\u2019s account settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>    &#8211; Set up or edit your organization\u2019s integrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>    &#8211; If this is turned off, interviewers will have to turn it on in the <a href=\"https:\/\/coderpad.io\/resources\/docs\/interview\/pads\/settings\/#pad-settings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pad settings<\/a> for the candidate or the interviewer to be able to run any code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"private-interviewer-notes\"><strong>Private interviewer notes<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>When this setting is enabled, interviewer notes are only viewable by the pad creator. No one else on the team will be able to view the notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"interview-transcription\"><strong>Interview transcription<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This setting will allow you to create transcriptions if you use <a href=\"https:\/\/coderpad.io\/resources\/docs\/interview\/pads\/video-and-audio-call\/\">CoderPad&#8217;s in-app audio\/visual capabilities<\/a>. More info can be found in our <a href=\"https:\/\/coderpad.io\/resources\/docs\/interview\/pads\/live-interview-transcription\/\">transcription feature guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"enable-the-waiting-room\"><strong>Enable the waiting room<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Enabling the waiting room by default sets all created pads to a &#8220;private view&#8221;. While the candidate could be copying code from sources like StackOverflow or ChatGPT, they could also simply be pasting code that they&#8217;ve been writing in their own IDE or editor like Notepad++.
